The Emirates Aesthetic and Dermatology (EMADERM) Conference, which will be held in Abu Dhabi on the 12th & 13th of January 2009, will bring together renowned international and regional speakers in the field of Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine. The three day conference will focus on Clinical Dermatology as well as the latest advances in Aesthetic Medicine. Experts from Europe, Asia and the Middle East will unveil state of the art, evidence based strategies for the management of common skin diseases. Knowing that Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine cannot be separated, several sessions will be dedicated to recent advances in cosmetic treatments. The core program will be complemented by workshops with an emphasis on practical aesthetic medicine. The attendee will receive hands on training in cosmetic procedures such as Botulinum Toxin, injectable fillers, and non-ablative Laser treatments. Chaired by Dr. Thomas Berger, Head of the Division of Dermatology at Tawam Hospital and Associate Professor for Dermatology at the Faculty of Medicine in Al Ain in affliation with Johns Hopkins Medicine, this fully CME accredited event will provide the delegates with an unique opportunity to update their knowledge in Dermatology and to gain valuable experience and hands on training in the field of Cosmetic Medicine.
