For the first time in the region a joint cardiology/cardiac surgery forum will be held in Abu Dhabi. Chaired by the president of the Emirates Cardiac Society, Dr. Wael Al Mahmeed, Head of Cardiology at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC), the forum attracts renowned local and international faculty in the fields of cardiology and cardiac surgery. Invited experts from world renowned cardiac centers that include Papworth Hospital, Cambridge and the University of Oxford, UK as well as from leading centers in the Middle East.
The two day forum will provide an up-to-update review of common clinical problems that include coronary revascularization, arrhythmia therapy and heart failure. It provides practicing physicians with a unique opportunity to enhance their knowledge of the latest research and updates, the use of medical devices and pharmaceuticals in the field of cardiology.
The Middle East Cardiology Forum is a two-day scientific program, supported by the Emirates Cardiology Society and organised by Synovetics, a leading provider of healthcare education. The conference is approved for CME.
