    The Pediatric Neurology Conference 2011 supported by Mafraq Hospital and accredited for 22.5 CME hours by the Health Authority- Ab Dhabi (HAAD) took place on the 19th and 20th of November 2011 at the InterContinental Hotel in Abu Dhabi. The event's opening ceremony was conducted by Dr. Anwar Sallam, Chief of Pediatrics, Mafraq Hospital. The Pediatric  Neurology Conference 2011 was chaired by Dr. Khaled Zamel, Consultant, Pediatric Neurologist, Mafraq Hospital and Vice Chairman was Dr. Waseem Fathalla, Consultant, Pediatric Neurologist, Mafraq Hospital. 

    The event attacted over 200 neurologists, pediatricians, neurosurgeons. neonatologists, allied neuroscience and pediatric healthcare professionals from the region. An exhibition ran alongside this important event, showcasing the latest in pharmaceuticals and medical devices in the field of Pediatrics Neurology.This two day conference brought prominient experts in the field, including Dr. Sakkubai Naidu, Professor of Pediatric and Neurology at John Hopkins University School of Medicine, USA, Dr. Steve Roach, President of the Child Neurology Society, Professor of Pediatric and Neurology and Chief of Neurology at Nationwide Childrens Hospital ,USA as well as Dr. Rose-Mary Boustany, Chief of Pediatrics and Neurology and American University of Beirut, Lebanon.

 The 4th Medication Safety Conference, the newest edition of the highly successful Medication Safety Series, supported by SEHA (Abu Dhabi Health Services Co. PJSC) as well as the Institute for Safe Medication Practices (ISMP) and accredited for 18.5 CME hours by the United Arab Emirates University Faculty of Health took place from  April 29th - May 1st, 2011 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Abu Dhabi. The event's opening ceremony was conducted by Dr. Mariam Al Mazrouei of Abu Dhabi Health  Services Company (SEHA).
Building on previous successes, the event drew in excess of an unprecented 700 delegates from the GCC and region as well as North America,

 Europe and Asia, including pharmacists, physicians, nurses, students and other healthcare professionals devoted to patient safety and in particular medication safety  best practices. The event also provided an  opportunity for delegates to submit their abstracts and saw an overwhelming number of applications. Ultimately, there were over 15 poster presentations selected for the conference as  well as 8 oral presentations, including participants from Europe and the Arabian Gulf.

 A faculty of distinguished international speakers from highly-recognized organizations such as Dr. David U from the Institute for Safe Medication Practices (ISMP, Canada), Professor  David Cousins from the National Patient Safety Agency (NPSA, UK), Dr. Christian Hartman of the American Society of Medication Safety  Officers (ASMSO) and Dr. Jeannell Mansur of the  Joint Commission (JC) as well as regional leaders Dr. Desouky Fayed from the International Medical Centre, KSA  and Dr. Masood Farooki from Saudi ARAMCO, KSA, once again converged on Abu Dhabi to provide delegates with up-to-date  research and strategies to both  increase delegates' awareness of critical safety issues and share top-quality scientific  material presented through lectures and workshops.

 The Emirates Aesthetic and Dermatology (EMADERM) Conference, which will be held in Abu Dhabi on the 11-13th of January 2009, will
 bring together renowned international and regional   speakers in the field of Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine.


 The three day conference will focus on Clinical Dermatology as well as latest advances in Aesthetic Medicine. Experts from Europe, Asia
 and the Middle East will unveil state of the art, evidence based strategies for the management of common skin diseases. Knowing that
